About the RQMF
NAMM administers a registration scheme (RQMF) for memorial fixers/installers/erectors and memorial mason businesses. All those registered are required to comply with industry standards of memorial fixing in accordance with the current NAMM Code of Working Practice and British Standard BS8415.
The RQMF is an independent register Administered by NAMM. RQMF listing on its own does not imply or give just claim to NAMM membership. The RQMF logo should be used by RQMF only registered Businesses. The NAMM members’ logo must not be used unless the Registered Business is also a full retail member of NAMM. Misuse of the NAMM logo could result in a breach of Trading Standards regulations and removal from the Register.

Burial Authority access to the RQMF is free via an individual login, technical support and the monitoring of RQMF registered memorial fixers is also provided.
All RQMF registered fixers and Memorial Masonry Companies must sign an undertaking to abide by the decisions of an independent disciplinary committee formed to oversee any alleged breach of fixing standards made against them.
Inclusion onto the RQMF confirms those listed permit their details to be accessed by the relevant authorities via this on-line Register.
The RQMF allows Burial Authorities to confirm that those listed are appropriately qualified and have the required up to date insurance cover in place. All those listed on the RQMF must agree to work in compliance with the current NAMM Code of Working Practice and British Standard 8415 and provide a guarantee of conformity.
The Register is for all memorial masonry businesses and fixers/installers/erectors whether they are members of NAMM or not. Burial Authorities do not have to sign up or join any organisation to gain access to the register.
The Register is administered separately from NAMM membership by a full time RQMF administrator.
Easy access to all relevant registration data relating to both memorial masonry businesses and fixers is available free of charge to Burial Ground Authorities/Dioceses administrators.
RQMF registered Memorial Fixers are issued with a numbered registration card that includes qualifications, photograph and contact details and the database contains critical information such as current insurance details and is constantly updated to ensure up to date information and individual fixer validation.
